Joonsoo Jon is an Emeritus professor of Sogang University and was Executive Vice President of Sogang University in Korea. He has been involved in policy making as an adviser to various Korean government agencies including the Ministry of Ocean Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federation of Korean Industrialists. He was Chairman of commissioners of Busan Port Authority and Chief adviser to the ministry of Ocean Affairs. Also he was Chairman of the Restructuring Shipbuilding & Shipping Industries Advisory Committee at Korea Export-Import Bank. He was also a board director of Hyundai shipping. Currently he is an senior adviser to the Ministry of Ocean Affairs. Also he is Chairman of Advisory Committee of Korea Maritime Institute. He has very extensive research works and numerous publications. His specialty is International Logistics, Shipping management, Port management and International Trade.

Masashi Onozuka is a Partner of Roland Berger based in Tokyo. His main area of expertise is logistics and distribution. He advises business leaders in drafting long-term vision, management planning, new business planning, M&A strategy, business restructuring, structural reform, company revitalization, risk management, and more.
In addition to his primary job functions, he was a chairman of the "Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program" held by the Cabinet Office and a member of "Study Group on the Comprehensive Physical Distribution Policy in the 2020s" held by MLIT. He has also served as a standing subcommittee member of "Logitech" at METI.
Prior to joining Roland Berger, he worked for Fuji Research Institute Corporation and Mizuho Information & Research Institute.
Masashi holds a master's degree in Media and Governance from Keio University.

Dr. Su-Han Woo is a Professor in the Department of International Logistics at Chung-Ang University in South Korea. He graduated with BA in Economics from Seoul National University in South Korea in 1998 and was awarded a PhD in Cardiff Business School in 2011. Prior to the current position, he worked in the Korean Ministries which deal with transport and logistics policies for more than 10 years and was involved in a wide range of maritime transport related policies. His research interests centre on effective management of international logistics and transportation focusing on shipping and port management. His research has recently been extended to supply chain management including topics such as integration of transport and logistic into supply chain networks. He has published a number of papers in the leading academic journals such as Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Transportation Research Part A, Transport Reviews, Maritime Economics & Logistics and Maritime Policy & Management. His teaching profile includes logistics systems, supply chain management and research methodology in logistics.

Nakjoo Seong(1963) studied English Literature at Sungkyunkwan University(1988 Bachelor) and International Business at Korea University(2003 Master). Since he joined KDB(Korea Development Bank) in 1988, he has worked at various positions more than 30 years, mostly of global business, including the expatriate at KDB Ireland Limited, Head of Ship and Aviation Finance Team, Head of Global Business Unit, General Manager of New York Branch etc. Currently, he is the director of Investment and Guarantee Group at KOBC(Korea Ocean Business Corporation), which supports and strengthens the Korean shipping industry. Also, he is the author of 쏛ircraft Finance published in May this year.

Mr.Lee Sangsik (SS) (1965) is working for BCT Busan Container Terminal
which is currently under construction in Busan new port. He studied Nautical Science at Korea Martime University (1989), followed by Master degree achieved at INHA graduate school (2008).
After his joining to HMM, he worked for various key positions i. e fleet
management, marine terminal operation, oversea sales, global network planning, alliance cooperation, new logistice business development and new building projects etc. He was in charge of operation as leader and sales as vice president over 8 years in North America, and then the head of container planning division in HMM headquarter from 1993 and managing director of South East Asia region based in Singapore, having the responsibility of 12 Asian countries.
Mr. Lee, Sangsik (SS) is preparing for the opening of BCT Busan Container
Terminal in Busan new port, which opening is scheduled in May, 2022.

Oh yong-sik

Prof. Yong-Sik OH (1969) had graduated the department of nautical science at Korea Maritime University (1991), and completed master course and ph.D program at the graduate school of Korea Maritime University and Kobe University. Finally, he granted the ph.D of Business Administration in Market Science, at Kobe University(2002).
Thereafter, he has researched and taught mainly in the field of maritime industry and international logistics at Korea Maritime Institute, Tongmyong Institute of Technology, Dongeui University and Korea Maritime & Ocean University.
Prof. Yong-Sik OH is a professor of International Trade and Economics Division in Korea Maritime & Ocean University and the chief of maritime finance department in the graduate school the university.

Woo Young JUNG studied the Law at Collage of Law, Seoul National University (1983) and the Commercial Law at the graduate school of law, Seoul National University (1985), and has worked for Lee & Ko since 1992. He has handled and advised on a wide variety of financing schemes, e.g. asset financing, project financing, securities, corporate rehabilitation and asset backed securitization, but always with a concentration on the area of shipfinance. As of now, he works as a representative partner of Banking & Finance Group at Lee & Ko.

He also has lectured at Graduate School of Law, Korea University since 2015, acted as an advisor of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries advises since 2002, and also has acted as Arbitrator, Korean Commercial Arbitration Board from 2011.

Park Ho-chul

Mr. Park graduated from Korea Maritime and Ocean university (KMOU) in 1983 accomplishing Bachelor degree of Engineering. He was granted Mater degree in 1988 and Ph. D. in 2019 at the same university by studying management.
He served as Lt. Junior Grade in the Navy of Korea for two years. Starting from Hyundai Merchant Marine co., Ltd, he accumulated a variety of experiences in the area of logistics comprising Hutchison Korea Terminals and Benison International in NY, USA as general manager. He joined Busan Port Authority (BPA) in 2004 when BPA was established. In BPA, since then, he has shown focused experties on marketing, port operation and international business.
Now Mr, Park is leading Global business division of BPA as Vice President.

Han Chul-hwan
Professor, Department of International Logistics/
Dongseo University/Korea Port Economic Association
Prof. Chul Hwan Han (born in 1965) studied Economics at Pusan National University and completed a Ph.D. (major in port economics) and graduated from Port, Shipping & Transport Management course at Shipping and Transport College (2000) in Netherlands. While working at the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) for 10 years, he participated in the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation(OECD) as Korea's representative and published a number of research results related to shipping and port logistics. After moving to the Department of International Logistics at Dongseo University(2005), he is striving to cultivate his students and research on digital transforamtion and sustainability of shipping and port industry.

Prof. Han is the dean of Global Business College at Dongseo University and president of the Korea Port Economics Association and chairman of the Yeongnam Branch of the Korea Economic Association. He also serves as a member of the Busan Metropolitan Government's logistics policy committee, a pledge advisory committee, and a member of the local subsidy review committee, and a member of the Korea Ocean Business Corporation's management advisory committee.
