Mr. Bart van Ommen (1957) is a national from the Netherlands with Bachelor degree in Marketing Management and a Master degree Development Economics. Having started his career in the private sector, Mr. Van Ommen has accumulated over 28 years of experience in resource mobilization and project management in the UN system (UNICEF and FAO). Since 2014, Mr. Van Ommen is the Senior Program Coordinator of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Dr. Lee Sang-Go is a professor of Department of Marine Business & Economics, Pukyong National University, Korea and he is conducting researches in fisheries economics. He holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Fisheries Economics from Busan Fisheries University, Korea and then Ph.D. in Marine Resource Economics from University of Rhode Island, USA. He was appointed as a professor by Pukyong National University in 1991. He is a former Vice-President of COFI (Committee for Fisheries, OCED) and also, he served for many national and international fisheries organizations. Currently, he is a Vice-President of CIFI, FAO and FAO Korean Committee as well as director of Overseas Fisheries Cooperation Center (OFCC). Since 2007, he has been leading the Fisheries ODA Capacity Training Program which is funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). This program includes establishment of international post-graduate program in fisheries for developing countries and government official training program for Algeria, Senegal and other South-Pacific island & coastal countries. Also, he is in-charge of KOICA셲 ODA project to open School of Fisheries at Solomon Islands National University; this unique package program is expected to give a birth of new fisheries ODA model. He is involved in Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries (MOF) international project to establish the FAO World Fisheries University (WFU). His major concerns and interests are the ways how to transfer Korea셲 experience and know-how in fisheries to its ODA partners.

Terje SV횇SAND is Research Manager of Aquaculture at the Institute of Marine Research in Norway. He has more than 30 years experience with aquaculture research and 20 years as research leader, and has coordinated a range of national and international projects. He has held several positions as Head of Research for Stock Enhancement, Population Genetics and Ecology at the Institute of Marine Research. His works include stock enhancement, juvenile fish production, coastal ecology, interactions between aquaculture and the environment and sustainable aquaculture. Sv책sand has a broad overview of sustainable aquaculture, and has since 2013 coordinated research and advice from the Institute of Marine Research to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, The Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the Directorate of Fisheries in Norway on the environmental impacts of aquaculture and the development of sustainable aquaculture. He has published papers, articles and edited books on a variety of subjects from his research fields. Sv책sand holds a Dr. Philos. from University of Bergen Norway. Born in 1955 in Norway.

Jeung Sook Park currently serves as a Chief Technical Advisor of the UNDP/GEF Yellow Sea Large Marine Ecosystem (YSLME) Project, entitled 쏧mplementing the Strategic Action Programme for the YSLME: Restoring Ecosystem Goods and Services and Consolidation of a Long-term Environmental Governance Framework. She is responsible for the overall coordination, management, monitoring and supervision of all aspects of the project. She worked as a Researcher for the National Fisheries Research and Development of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Republic of Korea since 1999. Her major responsibility was to monitor the overall trend in capture fisheries and aquaculture production, including social and economic aspects, in order to assist the development of national policies and plans for fisheries. In addition, she coordinate national projects with FAO activities, such as developing national review paper on fisheries enhancement, biodiversity conservation and fishery governance. From 2005 to 2009, she served as Scientific Affairs Officer of the Northwest Pacific Action Plan as part of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Regional Seas Programme. She has successfully managed the a wild range of activities such as oil spill incidents, nutrients and the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), integrated coastal management, harmful algal blooms, and data and information management. She obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Stirling, United Kingdom, in 1996 and her major is marine biology and ecology.
